Hale’s new library will open its doors to the public on Thursday, November 9th.

As many of you are aware, it has been a long and very frustrating journey but we are finally close to the finish line.

Transfer of the freehold for the new building to Hale Community Trust will take place within the next 15 days. Once the kitchen and bar area on the ground floor is completed, hopefully in the coming weeks, the community centre, cafe and flexible community space will finally open.

Hale Bowling Club will be able to take up residence once again at the Pavilion once ownership of the building has been transferred.

HCT has campaigned and worked hard to retain a library service in Hale and we hope that the Pavilion will become a prominent and popular destination for local residents and businesses.

Details of the official opening of the community centre and library will be shared with you as soon as possible.
